I'm Dr. Melissa Johnson, and I founded Pioneer Valley Plastic Surgery, LLC to create a setting for offering individualized planning and treatment for each of my patients.
I'm board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. I have been practicing in Springfield area for more than 20 years.
As a physician and surgeon, it is my professional aspiration to advance patient awareness, education, and access to resources that will enhance care and improve outcomes. In my practice I carefully focus on providing doctor-patient communication that is thorough, honest, never rushed, and encompasses the full spectrum of management from initial consultation, to risk assessment, to pre- and post-surgical care.

Our Office
We designed our office in the Brewer-Young Mansion to provide the highest quality of care in a comfortable, professional, environmentally friendly setting. From the time you enter our waiting room, visit with our providers in one of the exam rooms, or have an outpatient procedure completed in our procedure room, we believe you will find our office to be comfortable, relaxing as well as state-of-the-art.
Additionly we perform certain minor outpatient plastic surgery procedures in our office, as well as non-surgical and laser skin treatments. For all other surgical procedures, Dr. Johnson operates at local accredited surgical facilities including Baystate Hospital, Mercy Hospital, Noble Hospital and the Greater Springfield Surgery Center.
